DMCA Compliance
NetMirror respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond promptly to legitimate copyright infringement notices.
Important Note
NetMirror does not host, store, or upload any copyrighted content. Our application aggregates publicly available content from third-party sources. If you have a copyright concern, you should typically contact the actual host of the content.
However, if you believe content linked through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice using the procedure below.
Filing a DMCA Notice
To file a copyright infringement notice, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request" containing the following information:
Required Information
- Your contact information:
- Full legal name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Copyright proof:
- Description of the copyrighted work
- Proof of copyright ownership (registration number, original publication, etc.)
- Authorization if you're acting on behalf of the rights holder
- Specific URLs:
- Exact URL(s) on https://netmirror.io where the alleged infringement appears
- Description of how the content infringes
- Sworn statements:
- "I have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf."
- Signature: Physical or electronic signature
Response Time
We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 48-72 hours. Action may include:
- Removing or disabling access to the alleged infringing content
- Notifying the alleged infringer (if applicable)
- Documenting the takedown for compliance records
Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Email [email protected] with:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the removed content and its previous location
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake
- Consent to jurisdiction of federal court
- Physical or electronic signature
Repeat Infringers
NetMirror terminates access for repeat infringers as required by the DMCA. Multiple verified infringement notices against the same source result in permanent removal.
False Claims
Filing a fraudulent DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Per Section 512(f) of the DMCA, knowing material misrepresentation in a notice can result in damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
